Liana Technologies aims to become an active member in the Hong Kong marketing and communications community. The company has started its contribution by launching a series of international digital marketing events. The first Hong Kong event, Liana After Hours cocktail seminar, was organized on June 18th, 2015.
The event concentrated on the utilization of data in digital marketing, marketing automation and the use of PR in content marketing. The speakers included Kenneth Kwok, the Managing Director of Beehive Strategy; Douglas White, the founder and CEO of Prosperity Research Limited; Riina Vasala, the Director of the Liana Technologies PR Cloud and Felix Chau, Business Development Manager from Liana Technologies.
The Liana events have been organized for around 10 years, and they have become a popular meeting point for marketing and communications professionals in many countries. The events originated in Finland, and last year they were also successfully launched in Berlin, Paris and Dubai.
The Liana Technologies events tackle current digital marketing topics from different perspectives combining the knowledge of the company with that of the local and international professionals. The topics have previously included PR, event marketing, marketing automation and the use of data, to name a few. Apart from providing up-to-date knowledge on varying marketing topics, they also give an opportunity for networking.
Liana Technologies does not only aim to provide tools for digital marketing and communications, but also to spread knowledge and best practices across different markets. Liana Technologies is an active member of the marketing and communications community in all the markets the company is present in. The company organizes several different events both individually and in collaboration with other companies. Active involvement with universities and other educational institutions is also an important part of contributing to the community. Other forms of activity include sponsorship and marketing research.
