Published: 23-Jan-2017 02:00 pm
Hong Kong, 23 January 2017 …. For the third year running eicó paints is proud to be supporting Hong Kong’s annual street art and graffiti festival, HKWalls. This March, HKWalls is taking place in Wong Chuk Hang - right on eicó’s doorstep. The festival will showcase the very best of Hong Kong’s vibrant street art scene.
eicó paint is perfect for street art: it’s non-toxic, very durable and eco-friendly. The artists love using the product because it doesn’t smell and gives excellent coverage. So too the paint is fast becoming the firm favourite of householders and businesses across Hong Kong who want a safe and environmentally friendly product that doesn’t compromise on quality.
eicó paints are manufactured in Iceland to exacting environmental standards using 100% geothermal or hydropower energy. They have one of the lowest VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) ratings of any paint sold in Hong Kong. This has also made it a favourite for both hospitals and schools, and in particular popular for people suffering from allergies. Preserving the environment doesn’t mean compromising on quality. eicó gives wonderful coverage for both internal and external use, it can be tinted to any colour and has superior colour retention. The paint is designed for longevity and durability and is washable up to 2000 times.
Joakim Cimmerbeck, eicó’s founder says: “It’s great to be involved with HKWalls again this year. We work closely with many of Hong Kong’s amazing street artists so we’re keen to support and promote their incredible creativity whenever possible. We all share a commitment to making Hong Kong a more livable and environmentally friendly city. We want to challenge and excite people, in the hope that they will then challenge their own choices and opinions. You can make a difference. You can stop and think about what is on the wall in front of you.”
