Spend Mother's Day indulging in one of Aqua Restaurant Group's tailor-made menus which will leave Mum's feeling nothing short of spoilt.
Aqua – has created an exclusive gift for all Mothers on their special day. Aqua’s Executive Chef has crafted a floral butter just for the occasion, handmade butter mixed and crowned with edible lilac flowers. Delivered to the table as a surprise for a truly unique gift. The culinary team have crafted a luxurious dish of Smoked whole lobster, seafood mousse parcels, cauliflower, ricotta and caviar HKD 588. The smoked lobster dish is available for dinner as well as part of #BecauseBrunch.
Those really looking to impress should head to one of the city’s best restaurants with a view for aqua’s #BecauseBrunch for $598 with free-flow Veuve Clicquot and cocktails from 12-3pm. Perched above Victoria Harbour, aqua boasts spectacular views. Just for the weekend, enjoy two martinis adorned with flowers and a manicure for HKD $350 in aqua spirit from 5 – 7pm after your favoured brunch. Treat Mum to an unforgettable experience.
Armani/aqua – has made a careful selection of dishes from both Japanese and Italian kitchens to create an impressive Mother’s Day experience. Chef has created moreish dishes for the most discerning mothers for Because Brunch, for $598 with free-flow Veuve Clicquot and cocktails from 12-3pm. As a special gift, the first 50 reservations will also receive a make-up set, along with a compact mirror. Guests can also enjoy exclusive access to a bespoke make-up service, Designer Life Foundation (5ml) and Armani Code (20ml) from Giorgio Armani Beauty.
Hutong – has crafted a Mother’s Day menu featuring Squid with Sichuan green pepper and Kung Po king prawns served with Shaoxing wine sauce, created for family style sharing at HKD$4988 for a group of 4. Hutong, much loved for its fiery Northern Chinese cuisine, will treat every mother with a gift of Yu Shiang Chilli Sauce, aromatic and intensely flavoured oil made using salted fish, garlic and Sichuan chilli. Especially for Mother’s Day brunch, Head Chef Sai To will be hosting a bao masterclass for kids. Chef will share his knowledge on how to hand-craft Steamed red date bao. Children will be shown how to create the delicious parcels, and then stamp each bun with “愛” – a symbolic meaning of love in Chinese, the perfect handmade gift to be shared with your Mother at the table. The complimentary bao workshop can be enjoyed as part of Hutong’s Feng Wei Brunch, $628 per person including free-flow Veuve Cliquot Champagne and cocktails. |
Zafran - it’s all about Madre at Zafran on Mothering Sunday. The menu features Executive Chef Miguel’s favoured Baby octopus squid ink rice for HKD $298, a recipe which he has enjoyed himself on many family occasions, handed down to him from his Mother, he dishfeatures baby octopus – a seasonal Spanish delicacy. Tivo -impress your Mother with brunch for the family from 11am – 3.30pm, featuring eggs royale available just for the weekend. Enjoy a four course brunch for HKD $288 per person and add HKD$88 to sip on those all-important free-flow bubbles. As an extra treat for mums for the weekend, tivo is extending the free-flow hours. Shiro -to keep the little-ones entertained, there’s the Shiro Junior menu – a menu combining fun folding origami and mini sushi for kids. Everyone can enjoy a family meal as Shiro takes care of the entertainment. Crafty kids can eat and play, transforming their menu into an origami fish named Sakana, or a bird named Tatsu. Juniors can choose from a selection of Junior Bento Boxes including the Chocho Bento for $98 including prawn katsu, chicken karaage, Japanese omelette and udon with mushrooms.
