Festive Dim Sum at YUM CHA and a
Modern European Christmas Menu Complete with Wine Pairing at URBAN PARK
(Hong Kong, 11 December, 2018) – This festive season, the Hong Kong-based restaurant group, Dining Workshop, will unveil charming Christmas bites at YUM CHA and URBAN PARK. With Insta-worthy dishes and ever evolving outlets around Hong Kong, the restaurant group is one that continually pushes the boundaries with innovative and exciting culinary offerings.
A restaurant that serves a modern twist on traditionally enjoyed dishes and dim sums, YUM CHA is known for its bold and authentic flavours. Celebrate the festive season in with adorable Christmas themed dim sum ranging from Reindeer Cup-cakes (HK$49) prepared with brown sugar Cantonese sponge cake and topped with a German pretzel. Enjoy Frosty Red Bean Buns (HK$49) shaped like a snowman or try the Gingerbread Man Legend (HK$49) crafted with pickled sour ginger and lotus seed paste.
For dim sum crazed foodies, Christmas has never tasted better with the charming Christmas Box (HK$89) now available including all three of the favourite festive themed dim sum bites (Reindeer Cupcakes, Frosty Red Bean Buns and Gingerbread Man Legend). Adding some more festive cheer to meal times, the Broccoli Salad with Mashed Potato (HK$89) will be served in a cute Christmas tree shaped dish. This healthy treat with boasting superfoods like pomegranates and pineapple is sure set the scene for a holiday themed Instagram post or two. With vibrant and centrally located outlets in Central, Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay and Mongkok, YUM CHA exudes a vivacious East-meets-West vibe.
With two spacious and welcoming venues in Tsim Sha Tsui and Central, URBAN PARK provides a respite amidst the bustling city life that is hallmark of Hong Kong. Offering a three course Christmas menu, URBAN PARK will treat guests to dishes and exquisite wine pairings from 21 December till 31 December.
Kick-start the meal with an enjoyable selection including Maine Lobster Salad with Baked Shellfish Tart or Cream of Watercress with Foie Gras & Wonton and Truffle Paste Crispy Parma Ham paired with Sacchetto Prosecco Brut NV. Hearty main selections include Baked Seabass Fillet with Herbs Crustedand Crabmeat Emulsion, Braised Leek, Pumpkin Gnocchi, paired with Wallace Lane Chardonnay from Australia. Another scrumptious main selection is the holiday season inspired Charcoal Grilled Turkey with Chestnut Stuffing served with Honey Glazed Ham, Brussel Sprout, and Cranberry Jam, paired with Rose Hill Shed No.8 Cabernet Sauvignon. A wholesome dessert is a staple of every meal and at URBAN PARK, guests will indulge their sweet tooth with a Poached Pear with Almond & Blueberries Ice Parfait paired with Max Ferd Richter Riesling Trocken Estate from Germany.
