SnapPop Accepted Into Facebook's FbStart Social Good Track

Science Park, Hong Kong - Today, O2O technology developer ConnectAR announced the launch of its Pro Bono program for SnapPop, its offline-to-online and retargeting tool, for NGOs and non-profits worldwide. In the next 6 months, up to 3 non-profits could be selected to use SnapPop as their offline-to-online platform, to enhance their offline marketing materials and offline marketing campaign activities.
Users can snap printed materials of a charity, that are as small as a sticker, or as big as an event backdrop or even a highway billboard, to discover related contents, and to enter online campaigns such as lucky draws, selfie contests, and AR (Augmented Reality) games.
"SnapPop has been trusted by non-profits such as the Red Cross and ECSAF (End Child Sex Abuse Foundation) to further enhance their offline marketing events, and to establish a retargeting channel," said Ricky Lui, COO of ConnectAR. Interested NGOs can just send a brief introductory email about the NGO and its offline presence, to a dedicated email address: [email protected], and the SnapPop team will further discuss with the non-profit to evaluate feasibility and suitability.
As another example, for educational brochures and books, an NGO publisher could let readers, with a quick snap of a page:
