13 November 2018 - Aqua Restaurant Group starts the festive season with a spectacular selection of celebratory dishes and Christmas concoctions. The leading restaurant group fully embraces the seasonal spirit with each restaurant honouring a classic Christmas tree decoration; embodying the nostalgic elements of Yuletide throughout the merry month of December.
Statement – The newly opened modern British restaurant in Tai Kwun will be marking its first Christmas in style. Many feasts were once served in the Officer’s Mess which is where Statement stands today in the old Central Police Station. Statement will offer a traditional festive feast for the special time of year when hearts and dining tables are at their fullest, the menu features a Whole roast prized British turkey served with all the trimmings including goose fat roasted potatoes, buttered heritage carrots, Brussel sprouts roasted with chestnuts and braised red cabbage. Alongside, a trio of sauces - turkey gravy, homemade bread sauce and cranberry sauce. To crown the dinner, Homemade Christmas pudding crafted with the finest dried fruits and of course a drop more than a dram of brandy served with brandy butter. Aqua – Marvel at breath-taking views of Hong Kong’s iconic skyline illuminated with festive lights whilst feasting on a 5-course menu featuring contemporary Italian and Japanese cuisines. Aqua’s indulgent menu includes Roasted Dover sole with lemon and capers, cauliflower and Osetra caviarandGrilled Angus beef tenderloin with arima sansho with black truffle butter soy and baby onion and gobo crisps. Guests can also opt for the 5-course vegetarian menu which includes Beinasu yuzu dengaku with takenoko and taranome aonori age matsutake and oshimugi zosui. A nod to its position from the soaring heights of One Peking, aqua’s dessert incorporates a decoration typically found perched on the top of a Christmas tree – with its specially crafted Celestial luxe tiramisu. Tivo - Traditional Spanish restaurant located in the heart of Wyndham Street will be serving a 4-course menu which includes Red prawn croquettes, Segovian-style suckling pig with “Oloroso” sauce and Octopus and green asparagus paella. Ring in seasonal cheer at Tivo’s Christmas Jumper Party where guests can adorn their festive best and enjoy a complimentary cocktail upon arrival. For the festive season, Tivo embodies the Christmas stocking decoration and will be serving a limited edition Tidings of Joy cocktail made with vodka, spicy mango, piquillo reduction, Aperol and agave. The Dispensary - Creatively crafted cocktails can be found in the recently opened elegant bar, nestled between Statement and The Chinese Library restaurants. Guests will find a delicately decorated tipple presented in a decoration which encapsulates the spirit of Christmastime – a striking glass bauble. The Dispensary continues to epitomise the season with nostalgic flavours - the Noel Nightcap cocktailis made with cognac, biscuit liqueur, Earl Grey reduction, almond milk and cinnamon. Aqua Luna - Hong Kong's iconic harbour cruise will be setting sail throughout the festive period and serving a complimentary glass of mulled wine for all guests.
