Octopus Cards Limited (OCL) is celebrating the auspicious Lunar New Year with the "Year of the Goat Limited Edition Octopus". Symbolizing peace and joy, only 2,000 sets of this limited edition Octopus will be available for sale at all 7-Eleven convenience stores in MTR stations starting from ,7am of 28 January 2015 (Wednesday).

Each set of the "Year of the Goat Limited Edition Octopus" comes with two uniquely designed Adult Octopus, and is priced at HK$288, with no deposit or initial stored value. The design features two adorable and energetic goats in traditional Chinese handicraft style and festive colours of the Lunar New Year. In addition, each set will be issued with matching serial numbers, ranging from 0001 to 2000, to enhance its commemorative values. It is a must-have collection item as well as an exclusive gift for your loved ones.

Same as other Octopus products, the "Year of the Goat Limited Edition Octopus" can be used for public transport and payments at over 15,000 retail outlets throughout Hong Kong. In addition, users can check their latest transaction records through the "Octopus" App used on smartphones or the Octopus PC Readers, bringing greater convenience to their daily lives.

Users can also apply for the Octopus Automatic Add Value Service (AAVS) and register as Octopus Rewards members to earn Reward$ at designated merchants. Cash reloading can be made at any Octopus' authorised service provider or retailer.
