Following its success in Hong Kong, online butcher, Farmer’s Market by Emma Pike is launching in Singapore this May. Specialising in hormone and antibiotic free, grass fed beef, lamb and pork from Australia plus poultry from France and seafood from New Zealand and Australia, Farmer’s Market is committed to enabling families to source fresh, high quality meat and fish in Singapore at an affordable price.
At the heart of Farmer’s Market ethos is traceability and sustainability. All products are sourced from one or two farms, which focus on providing consumers with ethically reared, sustainable meat. Pike outlines her commitment to the core areas of traceability and quality: "I’ve visited the farms myself to see how they work, how the meat was farmed and the quality. My goal is to pass this on to customers, all while keeping prices affordable.”
The beef is sourced from Great Southern Australian Beef and AMH, and is 100% grass fed and free from growth hormones and antibiotics. The farms have been selected to supply Farmer’s Market due to high welfare standards and exceptional quality products. Flown in to Singapore fresh each week, the beef is available fresh and unfrozen. In addition, customers can also choose grain-finished beef from Rosedale Ruby, which are raised on pristine pastures and then on a grain diet for approximately 110 days, giving them unrivalled taste and texture.
Other product highlights include the prime Amelia Park lamb, hand-picked from the best farmers in the pristine South West of Western Australia. All lamb by Farmer’s Market is hormone and antibiotic free and is flow in fresh to Singapore each week.
Farmer’s Market sources its pork products from award-winning Bungalow Pork in Queensland, and the delicous range of chops, tenderloin and belly will be a big hit with the whole family. The offering also includes the P’tit Duc brand of chicken from leading European poultry farmer, SAVEL in France. The chickens are free-range, hormone and antibiotic free and corn fed and the difference in quality is reflected in the flavour.
Following a family move to Singapore at the end of 2017 with her husband and two children, 12 and nine, Pike is excited to expand Farmer’s Market from Hong Kong and offer the same high standard of products and customer service to families in Singapore. A keen sportswoman and supporter of several charities, Pike’s drive to succeed is apparent in all areas of her life, “Striving for success is part of my nature; I’m driven to always work harder, and this has made me a stronger person who isn’t afraid of taking on a challenge.”

Emma grew up in Sydney Australia and moved to Hong Kong in 2006 and then moved to Singapore in 2017. Emma has two children and has been an entrepreneur since the age of 15.
