Hugo & Celine ice cream for dogs was proudly presented at the Annual Charity Party of the Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR), the “Bohemian Pupsody – An Evening with Teddie Mercury”, where over 200 dogs lovers had the pleasure to redeem a free cup of the ice cream for their best canine friends at the Aberdeen Marina Club on 21 September 2019.

Founded in 2016, Hugo & Celine is a Swedish premium brand for dogs, that produces all-natural and healthy snacks and ice cream without the use of additives, grains or wheat, lactose and white sugar.

Hugo & Celine has been working closely with Professor Anna Hielm-Björkman, Adjunct Professor at the Veterinary Faculty of University of Helsinki in Finland when developing their products for dogs. Professor Hielm-Björkman has over 20 years of experience from independent scientific studies in nutrition and feeding for dogs.

“All our products follow the scientific findings as to what is best to give your dog in order to keep them healthy and happy,” explains Sonja Catani, CEO and Chief Executive Crazy Dog Lady of Hugo & Celine Ltd.

“Scientific studies show that feeding your dog with the correct food and snacks, avoiding all nasty additives, starch, grain, wheat or other unnatural ingredients, can significantly improve, and even cure the most common problems dogs have, like; gastrointestinal problems, problems related to eye infections, bad joints or skin rashes.”

The ice cream are now available in Hong Kong, and comes in six paw-licking flavours, including Happy Herring, Cool Cod, Dear Oh’ Deer, Lickin’ Liver, Magic Moose and Slick Salmon, taste-tested and approved to keep any pooches chilled and happy, especially on a hot searing day.

Other Hugo & Celine products are currently available in Hong Kong, including Crispy Chips (dried ox liver), Crunchy Cookies (dried tripe), Lollipup (ox muscle) and Barking Burgers (dried organic whole food for dogs).
