Finland turns 100 this year and a panoply of events, parties and festivals are organized - mainly in Finland but also all around the world. General Consulate arranged a "We Love Finland – Finland 100 Summer Party" at Scandinavian restaurant FINDS in Tsim Sha Tsui on June 9. Around 140 guests joined to enjoy Finnish treats, beverages and music.

Finland, the land of an thousand lakes, northern lights and nightless nights. More and more Hongkongers are attracted to discover this beautiful Nordic country. Comparing year 2016 to 2015 the number of the tourists from Hong Kong has risen by 39 per cent. The year earlier the increase was 32 per cent. The early figures of 2017 indicate this trend to continue.
On 9th of June Consulate General gave a sneak peak of Finnish summer parties for the local people with good music from from old legends to the hottest list hits. Not to forget the traditional Finnish food and games with local Finnish people.
