Introducing Brooklyn Bar & Grill a new urban New York style gastropub located in the heart of SOHO.

Brooklyn's warmly lit space is half smokestack speak-easy, half glammed-up gastropub with industrial fit-outs and exposed brick. Its perch at 29 Staunton Street, on the corner of Graham, features a wrap-around mural that can best be described as traffic stopping. Much like the quintessential brownstones that you find in Brooklyn, the elegance and gravitas that is typical of the Italianate-style housing is reflected in Brooklyn Bar & Grill’s decor, complete with the leafy-green tree that stands sentinel outside. 

The crowd is 20-50 somethings. The bar slash resto has a tipple for every consumer: for the straightforward bar drinkers, the eponymous "Brooklyn Lager" is not to be missed, for the high flyers, check out the "Aviator," and for the stiletto-heeled denizen popping bottles, Prosecco is perennially on tap. We'd also recommend the sweet and sour sucker punched "Raspberry Lemon Drop" and the "Spiked Blueberry Lemonade" - gotta tank up on those anti-oxidants!
For the #foodies, Chef Ayin champions delectable grass-roots grub that is deliciously authentic, with mama mia sized portions. Brooklyn Bar & Grill is a sophisticated den, which pays homage to its eponymous Bridge (check out the photography) and its archetypal brownstones (note the size of the towering burger; two patties if you please).

The pizza (this one doesn’t come by the New York style slice) is doused in truffle oil, flecked with oregano and marbled with cheese.

Carnivores will want to dive into the straight-out-of-a-New York-deli pastrami sandwich which is stacked high between slices of rye, feast on the mouthwatering quartet of sliders, and nom on the buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich. And the spaghetti bolognaise comes with a chance of meatballs for the ambitious gourmands.
For the carb-conscious, try the signature Chimichurri meatballs as an amuse bouche, the fall off the bone spare-ribs, the succulent miso salmon, the honey bourbon chicken and the fish lime tacos. And for the vegetarian set; the truffled Mac n Cheese (hold the bacon) can only be described as moreish, the Fettuccine Al Fredo is folded in a richy rich cream roux and Chef Ayin can whip up vegetarian burgers, risottos and more, on request. Desserts feature the creamy calorific cheesecake, and often change by the week. The whimsical cinnamon churros laced with chocolate is one to look out for as it’s on course to becoming an institution.
