SINGAPORE, 20 August 2019 – Renowned for its revolutionary Chinese culinary techniques based on the Eat With Six Senses Program, Yellow Pot at Six Senses Duxton has launched two new set lunch menus this August. Featuring a well-balanced, healthy meal that’s suitable for both business and social lunches, the set menus are curated using fresh and organic ingredients.
Made for business or social gatherings, the Lunch Set for Four is an invigorating eight-course meal at SGD30++ per person. Start the experience with a crowd favourite, the Chilled Organic Vine-ripened Tomatoes, which are infused with ‘Li Hing’ plum essence and topped with micro herbs from Six Senses Maxwell’s very own edible garden. The sweet yet tangy creation is the perfect way to whet one’s appetite for a glorious feast.
Guests can then indulge in the tastefully Seared Pork Cheek seasoned to perfection with cumin, chili and Szechuan peppercorn followed by the Double Boiled Fish Maw Soup, a timeless Chinese classic overflowing with baby abalone, shitake mushroom and sea whelk. For mains, the Roast Duck, one of the most celebrated Chinese dishes, and the Crispy Red Snapper Fillet, accompanied by a flavourful mango salad and topped with a spicy and sweet sauce, are served along the BaiLing Mushroom with Shanghai Greens and Egg Fried Rice for a well-rounded meal. Ending off the meal on a refreshing note, guests are then served the delectable Mango Sago, a contemporary Chinese dessert topped with pomelo.
For a more intimate affair, the Lunch Set for Two is a seven-course set menu featuring a plethora of Chinese heritage delights for SGD48++ per person. From the Chilled Organic Vine-ripened Tomatoes to Double Boiled Fish Maw Soup and hearty Roast Pork Belly paired with honey mustard, the appetizers are set to please even the pickiest of eaters.
The centerpieces of the meal – the Steamed Kühlbarra Barramundi, anamazingly aromaticdish made with homemade fish stock, garlic and crispy soy crumb, and the Poached Spinach, sitting atop a fluffy bed of egg cloud and dried scallops, are both extremely nourishing with many health benefits. Before the refreshing Mango Sago dessert, guests are treated to the Braised Tiger Prawn Crispy Noodle, stir-fried with ginger, onion and egg.

About Six Senses Singapore
Six Senses Maxwell is housed in a colonial-style 19th century heritage building within the eclectic heart of Singapore’s bustling Chinatown, an easy wander away from sister property Six Senses Duxton. Sustainably restored by celebrated French designer Jacques Garcia, Six Senses Maxwell exudes a timeless opulence blended with stylish European sensibilities. Each of the 138 guestrooms and suites are designed to pay homage to the building’s storied past, yet still presenting Garcia’s affirmed baroque style. Six Senses Maxwell is the second of two heritage buildings that, together with Six Senses Duxton, form Six Senses Singapore.
Six Senses Duxton is set in row of shophouses in Singapore’s colorful Chinatown and restored under designer Anouska Hempel. Together with Six Senses Maxwell, the two hotels showcase the brand’s commitment to responsible restoration and conservation. Each of the hotel’s 49 elegant guestrooms and suites include bathrooms with tub or shower plus toilet, hairdryer and organic guest amenities. Flat panel televisions offer satellite channels, Bluetooth speaker plus unlimited Wi-Fi. Gold is highlighted in the rich lobby decor and in Yellow Pot, the modern Chinese restaurant with an adjacent antiquarian-themed Lobby Bar. Guests enjoy signing privileges at both locations.
