HON10 Introduces Its First Ever Omakase Menus
From Hokkaido to Tokyo to Kyoto
(Hong Kong, May 16 2018) – Modern art-themed Japanese diner HON10 in Pacific Place introduces two new Omakases showcasing fresh seasonal fare – along with four dishes created for meat-lovers on their refreshed a la carte menu.
Epicurean Group’s fun eatery has attracted a legion of admirers for its innovative take on modern Japanese cuisine since its opening last year in the revamped Admiralty shopping mall. Staying true to its roots in serving seasonal produce, the new Omakase tasting menus demonstrate HON10’s various disciplines of Japanese cuisine with specialties that change with the seasons.
The deluxe “Surf and Turf” Omakase tasting menu (HK$1,280) is a veritable discovery of hauteJapanese cuisine, with refreshing appetizers such as Yuba from Kyoto (tofu skin) Sashimi, and Boston Lobster & Avocado Salad. Serving the catch of the day directly from Tsukiji fish market in Japan, guests can sample fresh sashimi such as Hiramasa (wild yellow tail amberjack). The dishes are also paired with savory plates of crispy Kyoto vegetable tempura. Followed by succulent A4 grade Wagyu Sirloin, premium sushi and finished with decadent desserts such as Caramelized Pineapple and Banana Tempura.
For seafood lovers, the supreme “Ocean” tasting menu (HK$880) is a must try; where guests can sample fresh Hokkaido Oyster, Sakura Dai, Hiramasa, Blue Fin Tuna and Surf Clam.
Available daily, from 3pm onwards, the two new Omakase menus include a complimentary welcome cocktail, with an exclusive introductory 10% offer until 15 July 2018.
Four new dishes will also be introduced this spring, including HON10 A4 Wagyu Donburi (HK$348), a unique rice bowl served in clear heat resistant film, filled with the smoke of sakura wood. The complete taste and texture of the cooking process is revealed when the Donburi is served to the table. Other dishes to try including Pan-fried Foie Gras & Eel Roll (HK$228), Pan-fried Beef Tongue with Japanese Sea Salt Sauce (HK$138) and the tender Japanese Black Pork Belly Skewer (HK$56) served with a Homemade Miso.

Opened in March 2017, HON10 is a stylish, contemporary Japanese restaurant in bustling Pacific Place Shopping Mall reinterpreting the Shokudo ‘diner’ tradition of modern Japanese cuisine with an innovative twist, in a fun, art-themed setting of contemporary artworks by various Japanese artists and a playful mural of two geishas feeding each other with chopsticks.
