Bürgenstock Hotels & Resort Lake Lucerne (buergenstock.ch/en) has announced the launch of its stunning Private Residence Suites for rental.  Short-term rental is available from June to September for guests to enjoy a summer retreat in the Swiss Alps. Long term rental is available throughout the year and enquiries are now being taken. Follow in the footsteps of Hollywood stars, Audrey Hepburn and Sofia Loren, who were both residents of the former Bürgenstock Resort in the 1950s and 1960s. The Residence Suites join four hotels, 10,000m² Alpine Spa, world-class medical & wellness centre and 10 restaurants & bar which launched in summer 2017 as part of this innovative project.

Elevated 500m above Lake Lucerne, the Private Residence Suites boast sweeping views and elegant interiors. The Private Residence Suites offer a home-from-home in a glorious location combining indulgent home comfort with the amenities of Bürgenstock Resort including a concierge, housekeeping, car parking, babysitting and in-suite dining. Two fully-furnished residence options are available to rent each with its own design aesthetic: Grand Residence Suites and Panorama Residence Suites.

 
Panorama Residence Suites

The Grand Residence Suites offer elegant and opulent living within the historic walls of the former Grand Hotel of the original resort of 1873. Imposing architecture is matched with stylish interior décor in the seven suites. Choose from one to five bedroom suites ranging from 54 to 280m² with views over Lake Lucerne and the mountains. Precious materials such as marble, fine saddle leather, floors of smoked oakwood and works of art by aspiring international artists add to the modern and relaxed setting. With its concierge, housekeeping service and private reception area, the Grand Residence Suites bring the luxury of the former listed Grand Hotel back to life.

Eight offices are also available to rent within the Grand Residences ranging from 52 – 247 m² with open layouts and stunning lake and mountain views.

 
Lakeview Residence Villas

With its modern architecture, the Panorama Residence Suites are impressive both externally and internally. Ten alpine chic, contemporary suites are flooded with light thanks to the south-facing position and sun terraces stretch from east to west overlooking the magnificent Bürgenstock mountain valley. Master bedrooms have integrated dressing rooms and adjoining baths, whilst living spaces feature fireplaces with natural stone finishing. Curl up in front of the roaring fire enjoying the vistas from the warmth and comfort of the Residence.

A private passageway connects the Grand Residence Suites to Bürgenstock’s 10,000m² glass-clad Alpine Spa. Facilities include 13 treatment rooms, three private spa suites, wet areas with hammam, sauna, whirlpools and hydrotherapy, a 24-hour fitness center and a Kids Club.  Enjoy the views from the dramatic 1,383-foot-long outdoor infinity pool that wraps around two sides of the spa building. Spa membership options are available to Residents for the Alpine Spa as well as the Waldhotel’s medi-spa. This revolutionary medical wellness centre offers access to an elite team of multidisciplinary physicians, including cardiology, dermatology, orthopaedics, psychosomatics, dentists to nutrition and gastroenterology, all with a depth of expertise to treat and prevent health concerns using treatments at the highest level.

 
Waldhotel Health & Medical Excellence

Crisp Alpine air offers the perfect setting for outdoor pursuits, including 70km of hiking and biking trails, three Davis Cup standard tennis courts, a nine-hole golf course, curling and ice-skating. A private railway whisks guests to the glistening shores of Lake Lucerne. Alternatively they may ride the Hammetschwand Lift, Europe’s highest open-air lift built in 1905. Alternatively, guests may watch a new release film at Bürgenstock’s private cinema.

Dining in one of ten restaurants and bars may be arranged by the Residence Concierge to sample Michelin star French fine dining at Ritzcoffier, authentic Asian at Spices Kitchen & Terrace or Persian dishes at Sharq Oriental. Alternatively, relish in world class cuisine from the comfort of home thanks to in-residence dining.

From June to September 2019, the Residence Suites are available to book as an extension to the Bürgenstock Hotel for a minimum of three nights starting from CHF 2,200 per night (approximately RMB 14,600) based on a two-bedroom Residence.

Residences are available for long-term rental from CHF 11, 300 per month (approximately £RMB 75,0008) with a minimum term of six months based on a one-bedroom residence suite with mountain view. Prices depend on the length of stay.
